The Charlotte Regional chapter of STC serves primarily members in and nearby the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Aside from the advantages of sharing with other technical communicators, Charlotte Regional STC offers its members these benefits:
• National membership in STC, including the quarterly journal, Technical Communication, and the Society's magazine, Intercom.
• The Job Bank and the opportunity to post your resume on this Web site.
Students at UNC Charlotte and other area schools can also benefit from membership in Charlotte Regional STC. STC not only provides an ideal opportunity to learn about technical communication, but also offers students a reduced membership rate. The Charlotte Regional Chapter holds two meetings a year at UNC Charlotte, including the awards ceremony for the student competition at the end of the spring semester.
