Content Life Cycle
Using the content life cycle as a focus, the Content Life Cycle SIG addresses three streams that are critical for technical communicators: content strategy, single sourcing, and content management.
- Content strategy will explore the analysis and planning process to develop a repeatable system that governs the management of content throughout the entire content lifecycle.
- Single sourcing will explore the publishing methods writers use to create content with multiple outputs in different formats, for different audiences, for different devices, or for customized material.
- Content management will explore how to select and use content management systems that manage content at a granular level with each component representing a single topic, concept or asset.
