Accurate financial data is essential to the operation and management of any organization. With a budget of more than $3M, it is imperative that STC’s leaders and staff receive financial reports in a timely manner that can be trusted in order to make the informed decisions necessary. I am committed to providing that information. The money received from dues and other sources is entrusted to STC for the benefit of its members. We are mere stewards of that trust and must ensure that every dollar is properly accounted for and documented.

Marta Sokol is a native of Poland and has been working in the United States for more than five years. Most recently, she was an accountant with Washington DC’s professional hockey and woman’s basketball teams, the Capitals and Mystics.

She is a graduate of the renowned University of Economics in Poland and earned her MBA at George Mason University.
