Performance support and knowledge support
- Let’s look now at the knowledge support the system provides. We’ve already seen two types.
1. The to-do list provides the most basic knowledge support. Without this step-by-step guidance, most occasional users wouldn’t know where to begin, and what to do, to build plans.
2. The instructions users receive when they click on a task provides a second type. These instructions are as crisp and precise as possible.
