Phylise Banner

Free to watch!

Have you heard about the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) movement in online learning? This webinar will explore the design, development, and delivery approaches of a variety of MOOCs, while highlighting the instructional theory, design, and technology approaches behind these large-scale learning initiatives. Learn how to leverage the benefits of the MOOC approach to meet the needs of your professional learning community.

Part of the intent of this seminar is to explain what a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is; the second part of the seminar is to reach out to interested members about our own upcoming STC MOOC. STC will be partnering with the Blackboard education platform company next year for a technical communication MOOC. STC will be responsible for the content and Blackboard will make it available to anyone worldwide. This is a tremendous visibility opportunity for STC on a worldwide basis.
