Candidate Statement:
I have benefitted greatly from the connections and knowledge STC has helped me develop. Through many discussions, debates, and learning opportunities, I became a better technical communicator. I believe STC has an important role in our industry, and I would like to use my business experience to strengthen the Society and deliver services in a cost-effective manner to support and shape future leaders. Technical communication continues to be a fast-paced, growing field. As new generations enter the field and existing generations find new ways to meet changing demands, we need the Society to grow and develop with these changing needs. My STC experience will help me understand the way we have done things in the past as we identify ways to support our communities and our members for the future. I can bring a diverse group of people together and help build consensus to move forward.
