Intercom magazine—magazine is distributed to STC members and subscribers in one of two preferred formats: printed and mailed to those who have requested print copies, and emailed to members who choose to receive the digital version. It is published 10 times per year. STC offers frequency discounts to the ad rates, making multiple insertions much more affordable. The digital version is now produced in a flash magazine format, which allows many ad enhancements, including ad animation, streaming video, a lead generation form and many other options to make your ad stand out. Intercom Online—the home page for Intercom offers preferred positions for additional exposure with a direct link to the sponsor's web address. Rate card for online ads are based on three months of exposure.
Technical Communication journal—is the Society's peer-reviewed, scientific journal published quarterly (February, May, August, and November) and sent to members and institutional subscribers electronically. Rate Card.
News & Notes—is a monthly electronic newsletter that is emailed to STC members. News & Notes delivers your ad to the industry's most technologically sophisticated communicators, a group that values speed and wants the most up to date information on your products and services. In addition to your ad or logo, you can include a 150-character caption. The newsletter is also posted on the STC website and ad links are active for 60 days. Rate card.
STC's Notebook (blog)—STC's Notebook is the official blog for STC members. The blog is available to all members and the public. STC's blog debuted 2 August 2009 and has rapidly grown. In the first two months more than 6,500 visits have been recorded. Rate card.
STC Website Advertising—STC's website, www.stc.org, is the leading edge of technical communication. This is the ideal opportunity to reach an audience of high–tech writers, editors, and graphic artists who work extensively online. Banner Ads on STC Email Blasts —Each month, the Society for Technical Communication emails important news to 9,000+ who have specifically asked to receive these messages. On average, eight to twelve emails are sent each month on pertinent topics, such as: Board activities, policy changes, new benefits, calls for papers, and news about coming events. Your banner ad will be the only ad, and will be in every email during the month.

STC's CVP program offers companies numerous ways to reach the tech comm community and save money. In addition to advertising and exhibit discounts, participation in the CVP program gives companies exclusive privileges not available to other firms, such as the opportunity to send corporate emails to STC members about your products/services, or presenting a web seminar on the use of your product. The program is also open to companies that wish to enroll several technical communicator employees as STC members.
Technical Communication Summit—Is the largest meeting of technical communicators worldwide. With more than 120 sessions spread over four days of education and networking, STC's annual conference includes multiple traffic-generating activities within the EXPO hall. Exhibit hours are productively scheduled during the 2 1/2 days of exhibiting. Approximately 1,300 technical communicators attend this meeting each year to learn about new products, tools to increase their productivity and to increase their professional knowledge.
