Help STC Embrace Technology
Interested in helping STC investigate off-the-shelf solutions to many of our communities' technology needs? Join the team that evaluates approaches and solutions for online elections, mass mailings, and Web surveys.
I'm the manager of the STC technology committee, and we're looking for volunteers in the area of product/technology evaluation. Volunteers will:
research existing approaches communities use to fulfill their needs
research available "off-the-shelf" products/solutions
Participants can expect to put in 24 hours of effort over two months.
The technology committee also seeks a project manager/team lead for this volunteer effort. The team lead will:
facilitate team communication, conference calls, and status reporting,
document results of the investigations and recommendations for posting on stc.org and in Tieline
The team lead can expect to contribute 3-4 hours per month.
