Communities

Communities starting with S

Sacramento

Over 20 years, STC Sacramento has experimented vigorously in providing all kinds of services to members and to the community. Members work in high tech, health care, and government. We also have a growing number of student members, and some of us are full- or part-time teachers.

San Diego

San Diego Chapter offers educational meetings and workshops, networking with other communicators, and resources for finding a job.

San Francisco

Like all other STC chapters, the San Francisco chapter is run entirely by volunteers. Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet other technical communicators and to build your network.

Santa Barbara

The Santa Barbara chapter is a friendly chapter with about 40 members. Visitors are always welcome at meetings, which are usually the fourth Thursday every other month.

Scientific Communication

The Scientific Communication Special Interest Group exists to cultivate excellence in scientific communication through our website, electronic and in-person communication, and web and live conferencing.

Silicon Valley

The Silicon Valley Chapter of STC serves members in the San Jose, California area.

Single Sourcing

The Single Sourcing SIG helps STC members develop knowledge and practical skills for researching, developing, and implementing single sourcing solutions.

South Carolina Midlands

The South Carolina Midlands Chapter of STC serves members in the Columbia area.

Southeastern Michigan

The Southeastern Michigan Chapter provides learning and networking opportunities for local technical communicators, while supporting the international STC organization.

Southern Nevada

The Southern Nevada chapter first met in April of 1986. Since then, its presence in southern Nevada has been steadily growing to serve all areas in southern Nevada (it also has a few members in St. George, UT.)
