- I am celebrating my first successful quarter century as an entrepreneur and multi-award-winning technical editor, designer, and medical-device writer. Before starting my consulting business, I worked as an editor, writer, and production manager for companies in and around the Boston area. In addition to the STC, I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association and the Editorial Freelancers Association, and I serve on the Advisory Board of TRA360. I have given presentations for local, regional, and international STC meetings and for FXconferences. In my spare time I read voraciously, volunteer my professional services to two local organizations, and serve as a live audio-describer for the visually impaired in theaters.
