About me

I have always been a writer. For the past 20 years I have found a niche in technical writing and editing that began in aerospace at Martin Marietta (Lockheed Martin) in the early 1990s in Houston. Since 2007 my work has been in the energy sector. Since 2006, I have managed the STC Quality and Process Improvement (QPI) Special Interest Group (SIG).

Ann Wiley (who founder of the SIG) has said, "I think there’s a new horizon the SIG could address, or perhaps two—one is quality within agile and lean processes, and the other is keeping the focus on quality alive."
