TEKOM is viewed as a competing association, but many STC members present at this event. It has a different focus and a different purpose than the annual STC Summit.

The conference offers some 200 lectures and workshops in German and English, a platform for international associations and organizations as well as a trade fair with 180 exhibitors. The annual conference is designed for technical communication experts and executives who are working for industrial enterprises or service providers.

The international orientation of the conference is also highlighted with the Associations World, a unique platform where attendees can meet experts from all over the world. This year 18 international trade associations and organizations dealing with technical communication, translation and localization will be present at the Associations World.
