Marketing Common Sense
Kathy Palokoff will share why marketing really isn’t rocket science or brain surgery. It is common sense in understanding who you are talking to, how to reach them, why a product or service will make their life different and why your product or service will meet that need. In technical marketing, this requires establishing trust through clear and focused two-way communications that focuses on the “why” as much as the “what” and “how.” This presentation will give you two important tools to engage your marketing common sense.
Making Infosecurity Fun? Using Marcom to Raise Awareness
Ben Woelk, Policy and Awareness Analyst will talk about how the Information Security Office at RIT has used non-traditional marketing strategies and social media to raise awareness about key information security issues.
