Understanding the benefits and challenges of utilizing a wiki for internal documentation is my immediate need.

However, in conjunction with that, I am personally very interested in discussing the community aspect of technical communication. With the explosion of social networking tools like blogging and twitter and the altruistic nature of sharing knowledge, the future of technical documentation is unique. Would an online help community where users and clients answer questions still have a place for a technical communications expert? Where do we fit in and how do we keep ourselves relevant?

Those are just a few of my current interests in relation to online technical communication.
