San Francisco

Berkeley
The Berkeley California chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) was founded in 1987 and has a current membership of approximately 70. It strives to meet the needs of Bay Area technical communicators by providing an environment for learning and networking. It maintains a website, publishes a newsletter, holds monthly meetings, and participates in regional activities like the Touchstone technical communication competition and the Kenneth Gordon Scholarship. East Bay
The East Bay Chapter turns 50 this year!
Established in 1962, the East Bay Chapter serves members in the corridor of Highways 580 and 680 in the San Francisco, East Bay Area. More than 40 members work in such diverse fields as software application development, hardware manufacturing, research, electronics, and telecommunications.
