Recommendations for Wordpress plugins for "mobilizing" sites
Discussion started by Ben Woelk , on 11 June 01:29 PM
I'm in the process of trying to make stc-rochester.org mobile friendly. I've installed the Wapple Architect Mobile Plugin for Wordpress which appears to be working OK and was pretty straightforward to configure, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee to avoid ads.
Is anyone using this or anything else? Our Woo Theme (Headlines) doesn't appear to support mobile.

Thanks! I've implemented the WP-Touch basic plugin although I'm looking at mobify as well.

I use the wp-touch plugin on michaelmccallister.com. Setup is quite straightforward, and it works very nicely. Should add that to the Wisconsin chapter site too. Thanks for the nudge!

Not necessarily a Wordpress only solution, but I use Mobify to make mobile versions of website. It is fast and highly customizable. ( http://www.mobify.com/)
We use it for the Carolina Communique mobile site: ( http://newsletter.stc-carolina.org) and will be introducing it for the TE SIG, too, in a few weeks.
