Central Iowa
The STC Central Iowa Community, chartered in 1986 as the STC Des Moines Chapter, today includes over 70 technical communicators throughout Iowa. STC-Central Iowa meets September through May, offering programs in tools and technology, team communications, project management, and other topics that help our members acquire and develop the skills to stay marketable in the workplace.

Central New York
The Central New York Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication consists of 70+ professionals and students in technical communications across Central New York, including Syracuse, Ithaca, Clinton, New Hartford, Poland, Utica, Rochester, Rome, Otsego, Owego, Binghamton and Johnson City.
Meetings are free - all members, students and public guests are welcome. This Chapter is coming alive with many new members, fascinating new speakers, and rapidly expanding student involvement.

Charlotte Regional
The Charlotte Regional chapter of STC serves primarily members in and nearby the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Students at UNC Charlotte and other area schools can also benefit from membership in Charlotte Regional STC. The Charlotte Regional Chapter holds two meetings a year at UNC Charlotte, including the awards ceremony for the student competition at the end of the spring semester.
