The Washington, DC Chapter was chartered in December 1955 to provide education, networking, and job placement assistance services to technical communication professionals and employers. This group merged with the Metropolitan Baltimore Chapter in April 2011 to become the Washington DC - Baltimore Chapter. We serve a wide geographic area which includes Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and some parts of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The chapter provides education, networking, and job placement assistance services to technical communication professionals and employers in the area. The Twin Cities Community provides user documentation and training guides for a variety of industries including finance, insurance, manufacturing, biomedical engineering, and more. Over 400 communication professionals and enthusiasts have joined our community (along with 14,000 worldwide STC members) to share their knowledge and experience with others, and to learn from their fellow members.
