STC Canada West Coast has 270 members who belong to our chapter and work in high-tech industries, health care, the resource industries, the legal system, utilities, and government.

STC France is an international community of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) with a local focus in France — the first European chapter (est. 1991). STC France, through its Chapter Leaders, supports technical communication professionals and students with networking opportunities, educational events, and career development resources.

STC Israel is the Israeli chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), and one of the largest chapters outside North America. It is also the oldest chapter outside North America.

The Southern Nevada chapter first met in April of 1986. Since then, its presence in southern Nevada has been steadily growing to serve all areas in southern Nevada (it also has a few members in St. George, UT.)

The STC Central Iowa Community, chartered in 1986 as the STC Des Moines Chapter, today includes over 70 technical communicators throughout Iowa. STC-Central Iowa meets September through May, offering programs in tools and technology, team communications, project management, and other topics that help our members acquire and develop the skills to stay marketable in the workplace.

The New Mexico chapter membership reflects the diversity of our state. Its members include technical writers and editors, graphic artists and web designers, university professors and small “tech comm” business owners.

The Charlotte Regional chapter of STC serves primarily members in and nearby the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Students at UNC Charlotte and other area schools can also benefit from membership in Charlotte Regional STC. The Charlotte Regional Chapter holds two meetings a year at UNC Charlotte, including the awards ceremony for the student competition at the end of the spring semester.

Minnesota State University, Mankato chapter organizes seasonal events, which help members promote professionalism, network, and learn about the technical communication industry.

STC-Montreal is the Montreal chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. STC-Montreal holds monthly meetings between September and June, in the early evening.
