Mission

The purpose of the Intercom Awards Committee is to oversee the nominations for Intercom Outstanding Article and the Intercom Distinguished Special Issue awards each year. The Committee delivers, to the Board, one nomination for the Intercom Outstanding Article award and one nomination for the Intercom Distinguished Special Issue award, if at least one qualifying special issue were published and if the committee deems it worthy of such recognition. The Committee also furnishes the Board with suggested citation text for each award. The main goal of the committee is to recognize authors of superior articles and guest editors of superior issues of the Society’s magazine. Intercom Awards are presented at Summit.
