This four-week introductory course provides an overview of the processes involved in developing instructional content for professional settings, including an overview of learning theories and styles, developing learning sequences, the major types of learning activities, asynchronous and synchronous instructional strategies, and methods of assessment and evaluation. The course will also cover important instructional design concepts, including developing instructional architectures, implementing instructional design principles, and practical use of learning objects and other instructional tools.
