Independent Consulting 101 – Going Out on Your Own
Intrigued by the idea of becoming an independent? Controlling your own destiny and schedule? No more office politics? No more commuting (maybe)? It sounds good, and it can be, but what’s the reality? Do you have the temperament for it? The backing? The discipline? The drive?
In this webinar we will discuss key issues in deciding whether to go independent and how to make it work. We will not discuss issues like insurance and incorporation – there’s plenty of information to be found about those issues. Instead, the presentation focuses on the psychological issues.
Even if you don’t plan to go independent, many of the topics, such as career flexibility, branding, and staying current are likely to apply to you.
