Technical Communicators and Research

This interactive session will explore the views technical communication professionals have on the characteristics of practically useful research. Three topics will be addressed: (a) factors that affect the practical usefulness of published studies, (b) an onsert to a practitioner-oriented research agenda, and (c) measures to facilitate practitioners to conduct and publish research.
