Nurturing Future STEM Communicators in the Healthcare/Medical Field

This presentation would draw notice of who’s who of Technical, Medical, Science, Industry and Academia, to pause and also spare time for creating, mentoring and nurturing Future STEM (ScienceTechnologyEngineeringMath) skill communicators, to spread vast Healthcare and Medical knowledge, to general audiences and justify the knowledge gained.

It will encourage the concerned leaders in the STEM to mentor and cultivate the skills, in the future communicators, to decipher vast and complex knowledge in Healthcare and Medical field, in simple and understandable mode. Knowledge pool created in simple language will help the patients, their care takers, near and dear ones to easily understand the medical process and procedures and take informed decisions in real sense. Present situation with highly technical medical jargons makes it difficult for general masses to understand the nuances of medical science and fully reap the benefits.

This presentation is a step taken to bridge the gap, put forward the idea of creating and mentoring STEM communicators, who fully understand the technicalities of medical and healthcare procedures and are also well versed in articulating and disseminating the knowledge for benefits of general audiences.

Present day Technical Communicators can also come forward, actively participate, innovate and bring revolution in healthcare and medical field communication, by guiding and mentoring juniors and preparing for next era of STEM Communicators. Future STEM communicators thus leverage all, clinical knowledge, technical writing and medical communication skills, to address existing communication and awareness challenges in healthcare and medical field, and contribute by reducing and sharing workloads of medical experts and practitioners to concentrate on other more important aspects of medicine.
