This class is being offered through the Rochester Institute of Technology in conjunction with the STC Rochester Spectrum Conference.
In this eight-session class for certification, we will prepare you for the CPTC Foundation exam. Participants will learn the Nine Core Competency Areas for Technical Communicators that are evaluated by the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) Foundation Exam. Subjects covered include project planning, project analysis, content development, organizational design, written communication, visual communication, reviewing and editing, content management, and production and delivery.

Personality is not an exact science. However, identifying your own personality traits helps you manage stress, identify triggers, and solve conflicts. Identifying traits of others helps you set teams, assign work, identify potential conflicts and plan mitigation, and solve interpersonal issues.
