Happy Holidays from STC

All of us at STC would like to wish all of you a happy holiday season. Thank you for spending 2010 with us, and we look forward to a wonderful 2011 with our members!

The STC office will be closed tomorrow, 24 December, and on Friday, 31 December as well. In the meantime, I give you gingerbread houses! STC staff had a friendly competition last week to build gingerbread houses. We spent a few lunch hours on them, and a few of us (yes, guilty) even stayed after hours a bit to add some color. Staffers split into three teams, and the results are below the jump. You can click on the photos to enlarge them.

Which one do you like? Your Friendly Neighborhood Blogger was on Team 3, so feel free to say that was your favorite!

Yes, those are pirouette cookie cannons. And a red gummi bear army (with giant gingerbread men helpers) attacking the green gummi bear fort, complete with graham cracker tents covering sleeping green gummi bears, pretzel-and-marshmallow fence, and Dots along the top of the wall.

  1. I have to say I agree with Rachel on this one, although it #1 and #2 are very close. At first I thought #3 was a deconstructed gingerbread house…that is, until I noticed the gummy bear army.

I wish everyone in the office (and around the world) a very merry, happy, wonderful, fantastic, healthy, and peaceful holiday!
