Upcoming Webinar on 31 March: Introducing the DITA Learning and Training Content Specialization

The Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) is an XML-based architecture for authoring, producing, and delivering information. DITA version 1.0 became an open standard in 2005 and has seen wide and growing adoption across the technical-documentation community. However, because the design of DITA focused primarily on technical manuals, its value to training developers has been low except for the few organizations that have specialized DITA on their own to meet their training-development needs. This is changing with the introduction of the DITA Learning and Training Content Specialization, which leverages DITA’s granular, topic-based approach to produce and manage reusable learning objects (RLOs).

Join Chris Benz on 31 March from 4:00-5:00 PM for Introducing the DITA Learning and Training Content Specialization. Learn how developing and managing learning content at the object level facilitates content reuse and repurposing, drives consistency across deliverables, minimizes duplicate efforts, encourages collaboration, reduces the time and effort needed to produce custom courses, minimizes copy-and-paste errors, and helps keep content in synchronization.
