Doc-To-Help Tech Comm Wire: Join us for our EPUB Webcast in March

In addition to techcomm professionals, we’ve also invited a few of our best corporate partners to provide their product evangelists as guest bloggers. Today we introduce a guest blog post from Doc-To-Help and Nicky Bleiel.

Doc-To-HelpEPUB is the file format behind eBooks. They are interactive, portable books that can be read on a number of devices, including eReaders, iPads, tablets, smartphones, and Nooks (they can also easily be converted to Kindle format). The EPUB format is becoming a very popular way to deliver content for display on multiple devices because it automatically adjusts for the screen and device settings.

If you are interested in learning more about single-sourcing to EPUB, please join us for the free webcast “Tips for Creating EPUB Manuals, Guides, and Books” on Tuesday, 26 March at 2:00 PM EDT (GMT-4). This webcast will discuss the EPUB format, give you tips for creating content for EPUB, and show you how Doc-To-Help can create them using either Microsoft Word files or by using its built-in editor.

We'll discuss:

  • Tips and tricks for single-sourcing to EPUB
  • Documentation options for EPUB
  • EPUB properties
  • Creating MOBI (for Kindle) with Calibre

If you’d like to join us, please register here.

See you next month!
