Technical Editing SIG Hosts a “Watercooler Chat” on Renewing Your Membership

Join the Technical Editing SIG and moderator Lori Meyer for a free “watercooler chat” on why you should renew your STC membership! The renewal season for 2014 opened 16 September; have you renewed yet? If not, stop by on Friday, 18 October, at 11:00 AM EDT (GMT-4) for this online, text-only chat. There will be no formal presentation, but rather a Q&A exchange involving all participants.

With a variety of membership options available, including Gold Membership, New TC Professional, and the Corporate Value Plan, how do you know which is right for you? Lori will answer your questions and offer tips on how to make the most of your STC and SIG memberships.

Lori Meyer is a member of eight STC chapters and five SIGs and currently serves as director-at-large for the Carolina chapter, vice president of programs for the East Bay chapter, membership manager of the Rochester and San Diego chapters, and co-manager of the STC Technical Editing Special Interest Group.

There's no registration necessary! Just log in at 11:00 AM with some questions ready for Lori. Be ready to participate in the discussion and not just “listen” to others. We recommend testing the chat software on your computer prior to the start time as well.
