As futbol/soccer/football fans worldwide are aware, the World Cup started on Thursday, with a full slate of games over the weekend. And while Your Friendly Neighborhood Blogger's two-year-old wasn't quite old enough to truly get into his first World Cup, he enjoyed watching “ball” with Daddy on Father's Day.
Here at Stately STC Manor, the teams of the World Cup are well represented. In addition to the United States, we have a staffer from Ghana and one from Iran; one employee's daughter is from Colombia; and yours truly honeymooned in Costa Rica. Okay, maybe that last one is a stretch.
Our membership spans the World Cup teams as well, with members cheering on Mexico, England, Australia, The Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Germany, France, and more.
Whichever team (or teams) you're rooting for, enjoy the games! And to a certain Ghanaian STC webmaster: today, you are the enemy. #becausefutbol.
