Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have been described as the 4th Industrial Revolution. In this review of the three prior revolutions, Peter Scocimara from Google Cloud will talk about possible changes to how we work, how we interact with machines and how we can prepare for a world where AI is ubiquitous.
About the Presenter
Peter “Scotch” Scocimara: Sr. Director, Cloud Support, Google Cloud
Scotch leads the Cloud Support organization that serves Google Cloud customers and partners globally. Scotch drives the Cloud organization to develop better products for our customers and ensure customers can effectively leverage Google Cloud to drive transformational change in their business. Scotch brings over 20 years experience managing sales, marketing, network and support operations for high growth Internet and SaaS services including: WebEx Communications, Excite@Home, LiveOps and Ooma. He also founded a consumer medical device company which he led from product concept to market launch and to an eventual sale to Philips.
Scotch earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations from Brown University. Scotch serves as a trustee for Phillips Exeter Academy. Scotch is married with two daughters.
