Technical Communication Authors Earn CCCC Awards

It's official: Technical Communication authors received CCCC's awards in four out of six Technical or Scientific Communication Award Categories!

Edward A. Malone, David Wright, and Daniel Reardon (Eds.)'s, Special Issue on Transmedia, Participatory Culture, and Digital Creation earned the award for Best Original Collection of Essays in Technical or Scientific Communication.

Edward A. Malone's “‘Don’t Be a Dilbert’: Transmedia Storytelling as Technical Communication during and after World War II” won Best Article Reporting Historical Research or Textual Studies in Technical and Scientific Communication.

David Wright's “Sounding Off: Toward a Rhetoric of Sound in Technical Communication” earned honorable mention in the Best Article on Philosophy or Theory of Technical or Scientific Communication category.

Josephine Walwema's “A Values-Driven Approach to Technical Communication” earned Best Article Reporting Qualitative or Quantitative Research in Technical or Scientific Communication.
