2022 STC Summit with a Little Fun on the Side

STC’s International Summit is always enjoyable in its own right, but squeezing in a little local flavor always makes the trip that much more enticing. STC Chicago has put together three options that will enrich your Summit experience and help you explore the local area. Spots fill up quickly, so we encourage you to reserve a space soon!

Local Dinners

Monday, 16 May | 6:00 PM

Looking for some company at dinner? Join fellow Summit attendees as they gather for food and drink after a full day of educational sessions. Plenty of dining venues await within walking distance of the conference hotel. STC Chicago’s Restaurant Guides will meet you in the hotel lobby and coordinate group outings to local restaurants, including Murray Bros. Caddyshack, Adobe Gila’s, Five Roses Pub, and more.

Attendees pay for their own food and drinks, but the camaraderie is priceless! When paying for dinner, separate checks will be provided, so no advance payment is necessary. However, please RSVP to let us know you are joining the group. STC Chicago will make reservations based on the number of responses we receive.

Where to Join Your Group: Meet in the Hyatt Regency O’Hare ground-floor lobby (just inside the main entrance) at 6:00 pm on Monday night. Your guide will be holding a sign with the name of the restaurant you selected. From there, you’ll stroll to your dinner venue, which is  approximately a 10-12 minute walk from the conference hotel.

Join Summit attendees for an evening of baseball, networking, and fun!

Meet up with fellow STC members and friends to watch the local Chicago Dogs in a lively night game at Impact Field, the minor league baseball stadium just steps away from the Summit hotel in Rosemont. Take a complimentary shuttle to the field or stroll (.8 mile or 17 minutes) to the stadium along with your guide, STC Chicago President Pete Wagner.

Tickets are $16 each. Food and drinks—including Chicago-style hot dogs—are available for purchase at Impact Field. The stadium is also home to fan-accessible batting cages and the largest high-definition scoreboard in independent baseball. So, grab your complimentary Chicago Dogs baseball cap and make your way to the ballpark with us!

Be sure to join the group and enjoy a Chicago Dogs night out.

Where to Join the Group: Meet in the Hyatt Regency O’Hare ground-floor lobby (just inside the main entrance) at 7:00 pm, after the STC Honors Event on Tuesday night. The Rosemont Circular Shuttle stops around the corner from the hotel on N. River Road and drops off at Impact Field. The stadium is within walking distance of the Summit hotel, so you can choose to walk and arrive at the game at a pace that suits you.
