Senior Members,
The Society for Technical Communication wants to recognize your contributions!
It’s the time of year when STC encourages members who have been active in the Society for ten total years to pursue the honor of Associate Fellow. Nominate yourself with the endorsement of another Senior Member, or ask another Senior Member to nominate you. Nominees must be a Senior Member, which is any individual who has been a regular member of the Society for five consecutive years.
The honor recognizes members for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the art and science of technical communication, and for sustained and significant service to STC. Associate Fellows retain this honorary rank for life, unless they are elevated to the rank of Fellow.
To be considered for Associate Fellow, a candidate must have:
- Been active in technical communication for at least 15 years.
- Fulfilled ten years of service as an STC Member (with at least five years at the level of Senior Member), as of the application submission deadline.
- Be engaged in the field at the time of application.
