STC Releasing Website Later This Week

As STC webmaster, I am writing members to provide an update on the progress of the STC website and let you know that we will be releasing the beta version later this week.

During our most recent testing, we discovered that the latest site updates broke the member authentication procedure. This function must be repaired before we can go fully live. For membership, education and conference registration, and the new STC Network, authentication is vital. The Project Phoenix team is working nonstop with our developers to fix this issue.

In the meantime, however, we are looking forward to releasing the public-facing portion of the site later this week. We need to make a few changes to allow for continued renewals and registration through the current site's layout, but we anticipate releasing a beta site (minus the members-only material, including STC Network and My STC) soon.

Essentially, all public information will be available from the new site—publication information, education descriptions, membership benefits, mission and value statements, leadership materials, etc. For items that require registration, we'll link you to the iMIS pages as currently found on STC.org.

Once this beta site is released, we'll be working continuously to bring the members-only areas to you as quickly as possible. We know that the STC Network and My STC are extremely important aspects to the new site; we simply want to get them right before we invite members in.

Hang in there with us a few more days! Updates will be posted to the blog as the week progresses.
