Carol Smith is a research-driven user experience professional that enables teams to design products and services to meet the needs of their intended users. She has led projects with government, non-profit and private sector clients, in industries such as: education; financial; health care and medicine; insurance; manufacturing; and retail. Carol has a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University and is the Watson Design Team Manager at IBM in Pittsburgh, PA. She spends her evenings and weekends with her family and as an active UX community organizer.
