Dr. Ugur Akinci, an STC Fellow and Past-President of STC Washington DC – Baltimore Chapter, has worked as a technical communicator since 1998 for Fortune 100 companies like ADP, Fannie Mae, and Honeywell. He is the owner of Technical Communication Center website where he offers free writing tips and tutorials in addition to the writing courses he offers on Udemy.  Besides 30+ books he published on Amazon Kindle and hundreds of articles published on LinkedIn, Quora and Medium, he maintains the Technical Communication channel on YouTube where he again shares free info on various aspects of technical communications. He loves mentoring the new generation of technical writers and contribute to STC to fight against bad content and what he calls “the Forces of Chaos.”
