Communications Liftoff: How to Rocket Your Community to the Stars Presenter: Ben Woelk Marketing communications are foundational to increasing your community’s reach and energizing your fan base. This session will explain how to create a social media-based community marketing plan and show how Rochester leveraged higher ed resources to identify new opportunities and go after new markets. Growing Your Membership Presenter: Rich Maggiani Discuss ideas of how to attract and retain members. Reinventing a Geographic Chapter in a Virtual World Presenter: Andrea Wenger In response to the 2010 dues increase, the STC Carolina Chapter turned to Web tools to increase value for remotely located chapter members.
