STC offers multiple preconference education opportunities for an additional fee. Attendees can attend a two-day certificate course or half-day workshops on Saturday and Sunday. See below for the course titles and presenters and click the links for descriptions.
You can register for any of these events with the same registration link for the Summit. Please note that there are special “preconference certificate course plus Summit” packages available. If you’ve already registered for the Summit but would like to register for one of the below events, please contact Lloyd Tucker.
Certificate Courses
There will be two, two-day certificate courses offered on Saturday, 17 May, and Sunday, 18 May (8:30 AM-4:30 PM), with a certificate of attendance awarded at the end of each course. As in previous years, you can register for a preconference course package that includes full Summit registration and save. The two certificate courses are bundled subjects with multiple presenters. Each “bundled” certificate course consists of four sessions, each a different topic within the main subject matter and taught by a different instructor. The sessions are approximately 3.5 hours each and you will attend two per day. You must attend all four sessions in the bundle to receive a certificate of attendance.Individual Preconference Workshops (no certificate given)
Multiple 3.5-hour preconference workshops are offered on an a la carte basis; these workshops include the sessions that make up the two “bundled” certificate course. If you don’t desire to take the entire certificate course you can still attend one, two, or even three of the course’s sessions as separately purchased workshops. All preconference workshops are priced individually and do not include Summit registration. Certificates will not be issued for individual workshops. These courses take place 8:30 AM-Noon and 1:00-4:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.Certificate Courses
