We here at STC Chicago realize accessibility is an important topic for many attendees, and due to several requests, we’ve put together a few resources that can make your visit to Summit 2012 and the greater Chicago area successful.
Hyatt Regency O’Hare
The STC national office created an Accessibility page on the Summit website. There you can find accessibility information about the Hyatt Regency as well as the two major Chicago airports, wheelchair and scooter services, and instructions if you have dietary restrictions.
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA)
If you plan to get out and about during your stay in Rosemont, consider using Chicago’s public transportation system. A wheelchair-accessible EL stop is very near the Summit hotel, and all the Chicago city buses are accessible. For complete information on CTA accessibility, visit the CTA Accessibility website.
Chicago Hotspots
A visit to Chicagoland wouldn’t be complete without sinking your teeth into a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza or taking in a Monet at the Art Institute. If you plan to visit a local restaurant, museum, or tourist attraction, consider looking up its accessibility on one of the following sites:
