Jeff Haas is an innovative technical communicator who is always pushing the envelope by incorporating new authoring tools and work methodologies on his user assistance projects. Whether starting his own business or challenging a Fortune 500 company from within, he brings an entrepreneurial spirit to all of his assignments, like the year he spent in Hong Kong providing technical writing services to the HSBC Bank. Jeff led the Atlanta Chapter to the prestigious Chapter Achievement Award as president, received the Distinguished Chapter Service Award, and served as a judge multiple times for the STC International Competition. He’s won numerous awards from STC, including two International Awards of Merit, one Atlanta Chapter Best of Show, and thirteen other local chapter awards. In his spare time, Jeff has published over 30 short stories, with his first professionally published story in Baen’s Universe receiving an Honorable Mention in The Year’s Best Science Fiction Collection.
