Amelia Ijiri

Education Technology Specialist

Amelia ljiri is an educational technology specialist, instructional designer, English instructor, and Japanese-to-English translator. Her courses combine business English with simulation-based training to prepare non-native speakers for the international workplace. She received her master of Science from the University of Central Missouri where she researched gamifying museums using augmented reality, Web 3.0, and online communities. She is currently researching instructional design for immersive virtual environments (IVE) and digital language learning (DLL). She is pursuing an online Doctorate of Education in Instructional Systems Technology with the University of Indiana.
