In case you missed it, there have been several big changes to the Distinguished Community Service Awards:
- For the Distinguished Chapter Service Award, Distinguished SIG Service Award, and Distinguished Service Award for Students, there is a new system for determining how many members may be nominated per community. It will be based on your Community membership as of 30 June 2010. The number of available nominations per size category is in the chart below. (Contact Diana Buttram if you don’t know your membership as of this date.)
- Another big change—in the past, the entire community administrative council was ineligible for this award. Now, only two community officers will be ineligible for the award: President and Vice President.
Geographic Community Size as of 30 June | Number of nominees |
40 members or fewer | 1 |
41-75 members | 2 |
76-150 members | 2 |
151-300 members | 3 |
301-600 members | 3 |
601+ members | 3 |

Thank you in advance for your nominations!
