Are you attending the 2011 annual conference of the Council of Programs in Technical and Scientific Communication in Harrisonburg, VA? If so, join the Academic Special Interest Group of the STC on Thursday, 6 October, for a preconference workshop immediately preceding the conference. This is an exciting new venture that will facilitate an active exchange between STC and CPTSC.
This workshop features two keynote addresses, four one-hour panels, and excellent cuisine. Panel topics are listed below and will include the opportunity for discussion across the industry/academy boundaries:

- Virtual Mentoring and Internships

The keynote speakers will be:
- Hillary Hart, University of Texas, the STC Academic Keynote Speaker
