With less than a week until the Summit, we’ve reached our final preconference Recognition Monday! Below are this years honorees for the Distinguished Community Awards. Next week we’ll have two final posts for our “secret” awards: the President’s Award, Community of the Year, and Most Improved Community. Attending the Summit? Sign up for the Honors Banquet on-site to celebrate all our honorees, or email Cheryl Miller if you’ve already registered for the Summit and want to add the Honors Banquet.
The Society for Technical Communication has long recognized the importance of the hard work and commitment of its community members. Without their energy and enthusiasm, the Society would cease to be the largest, most effective, and most prestigious organization of technical communicators in the world.
Below are the honorees this year for the Distinguished Chapter Service Awards, Distinguished SIG Service Awards, and Distinguished Service Award for Students. Congratulations to each of them and thank you for your service to the Society. And thank you to the members of the committee, Cindy Pao, Sarah Baca, and Linda Urban.
