Are you interested in attending the Summit but can’t make the trip to Columbus? Perhaps despite trying to convince your boss, you still can’t find a way to work it in. We understand, and we have a solution that allows you to take part in the excitement without having to be there in person—the Virtual Track!
The Virtual Track of the 2015 Summit will take place on Monday, 22 June, and Tuesday, 23 June, and includes 10 carefully selected sessions from a cross-section of the overall Summit education program. During the breaks, you’ll also have a chance to hear from STC about the latest news and programs, and discover technology trends from a selection of exhibitors. And to ensure your virtual attendance feels even more like the real thing, each session will have a moderator so you can ask questions and interact with the session as if you were there in person.
The full schedule of sessions and breaks can be viewed online, so what are you waiting for? Register today!
NOTE: You must register no later than 17 June to attend the Virtual Track and receive login instructions. Registration past this date will be unavailable due to staff travel to the Summit in Columbus.
I second Lary’s thugohts that many technical writers tend to stay in their comfort zone. They continue to push the envelop for new tools and usability, and not really diversifying and contributing towards *strategy*. Content strategy offers a huge potential to technical writers to grow into diverse career opportunities and to contribute proactively throughout the product lifecycle right from conception to analysis to pre-sell to development to post-sell, and even to analysis.
