The Rochester Chapter of STC is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for Spectrum 2013, our 54th Annual Conference. This year’s theme—Why Not The Best?—offers you an opportunity to share your expertise on how we create and deliver the best and most innovative content, leaders, technology, and skills that our profession offers.
Spectrum 2013 will be held on Friday, 22 March 2013, at Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, NY. We will also be holding these pre-conference and post-conference events:
- a reception on the evening of Thursday, 21 March
- a half-day Leadership Program on the morning of Saturday, 23 March.
We invite you to participate by submitting a proposal for a presentation, workshop, panel, progression, or lightning talk. If you are a leader in an STC community or have a special interest in leadership of volunteers in a not-for-profit organization, consider proposing a session for our post-conference Leadership Program as well.
A description of the Call for Proposals and a proposal submission form, as well as information about the post-conference Leadership Program, are available for downloading using the links below. We will be accepting proposals through 4 January 2013. We will notify all proposal submitters of our program decisions by Monday, 21 January 2013.
