Michael Opsteegh is the chair of the Student/Young Professional Outreach Task Force. The Task force is committed to brainstorming and evaluating STC’s support and outreach to students and young professionals and ensuring these critical segments of STC members are well served.

Samantha is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University and now works in marketing communications in Atlanta, GA. Along with other members of the CAC and the Academic SIG, she is working as the Student/Young Professional Liaison, bringing a fresh perspective to helping STC develop outreach strategies and working to make STC more accessible for new and future technical communicators.
