STC Rochester is hosting its regional tech comm conference, Spectrum, March 25-27, 2018 at Louise Slaughter Hall at the Rochester Institute of Technology. This year’s theme is “Hack into Your Flow.”

STC’s Rochester Chapter holds the fantastic Spectrum conference every year. The conference will be held 25-27 March 2018, with a theme of Hack Into Your Flow, and the call for proposals is now open. Proposals must be submitted by 8 December.
Each year, STC’s communities sponsor competitions through which technical communicators have the opportunity to receive recognition for their work. Entries in the community competitions may receive an Excellence, Distinguished, or Merit Award. Each entry is judged against criteria that measure the degree of technical content, achievement of purpose, and technical execution, whether online or in a printed deliverable.
STC recognizes individual member achievement through several award programs. This post includes information on the academic award programs and their deadlines.
