That’s why STC is proud to announce that Nancy Duarte, best-selling author of DuarteJacobs_STCdues_CorpValueProgramResonate: Presenting Visual Stories That Transform Audience and CEO of Duarte, Inc., will be the opening keynote speaker at the 2015 Summit.
To kick off the Summit on Sunday, 21 June, Duarte will demonstrate how to apply the methods in her book to build meaningful connections with audiences that compel them to action. Her groundbreaking work details a new way of structuring a presentation and connecting with an audience, helping the presenter create a human connection. After all, changing the world starts with transforming an audience, and an audience will only change if you resonate with them.
The 2015 Summit will also set itself apart from previous years by featuring a closing keynote speaker, Web design authority and 14-year industry veteran Denise Jacobs. Jacobs is a speaker, author, and creativity evangelist who evangelizes techniques to make the creative process more fluid, methods for making work environments more conducive to creative productivity, and practices for sparking innovation. Through speaking, trainings, and writing, she shares big concepts that challenge the status quo and lead to “a-ha moments” that translate into immediate actions, skills, and new habits to transform all aspects of people’s work lives with focused creativity. Jacobs’s presentation will close out the Summit on Wednesday, 24 June.
